Purposeful Adventure
TRASH FREE TRAILS
Trash Free Trails exist to protect our trails and the wild places they take us. Their mission is to reduce single-use pollution (aka; litter!) on our trails and wild places by 75% by 2025 and (re)connect people with nature through purposeful adventure.
I worked closely with the team at Trash Free Trails to bring to life their idea of purposeful adventure and what that means - whether you are filling up a bag of trash, speaking to a school or out on your bike on the trails.
I created a purposeful adventure illustration, inspired by bike fit check photos common in the cycling community. We also created a ‘Purposeful Adventure Pack’ which are sent out to organisations across the United Kingdom who wanted to take part and become a purposeful adventure friendly place. The illustration also appeared in the most recent edition of Sidetracked magazine.
Trash Free Trails was at this years Blue Earth Summit. The event in Bristol on the 10-12th October 2023 welcomed 5,000 people making positive change. The assets I created for the purposeful adventure packs were used as a basis for the 2023 stand design, in partnership with Trek Bikes.
